Except for Gummy Globe (which started out as a 35mm slide), these are all single-exposure digital photos, made by moving the camera. Tiny apertures (and slow ISO speeds) were used to get the right exposure. The haikus on Neon Dragonfly and Golden Afternoon are by Debra Galloway, who later created the images to reflect the poetry.
These pictures are sized to 2560x1600, but there are many more sizes -- up to 3600x2400 -- on our site, DesktopPictures.com, where we've cropped and/or changed the proportions of each picture to look best in various formats.
There are lots more hi-res desktop pictures on our site, too, including scenic, Florida beaches, leaves, flowers, clouds, Haiku letters, holidays, black and white, plus more abstract and artistic pictures like the ones in this sample collection.
Thanks for downloading our pictures!
