Bookmarks

With Hot Plan you can easily and automatically grab bookmarks (or more generally URLs) copied into the system clipboard from any application (usually your web browser, but any application which can store data into the system clipboard is supported).
Just follow the following steps:

  1. Configure the Bookmark Grabber Hotkey preferences option
  2. Enable the Insert Grabbing Date for Bookmarks preferences option if you want that each grabbed clip has the current date prepended to it
  3. Use the Plans > Toggle Bookmark Grabbing Target menu option to mark the plan where you want the grabbed bookmarks to be stored (if no plan is marked, the currently selected one will be used and if no one is selected, a new plan named 'Bookmarks' will be created)
  4. When you want to start grabbing bookmarks press the configured hotkey or the bookmark button at the bottom of the main window
  5. All valid bookmarks, copied into the clipboard from any application after the hotkey has been pressed, will be grabbed by Hot Plan and added to the current plan as a new action; the title will display the grabbed URL and the action's link will be associated with the URL
  6. When you want to stop the grabbing process just press the hotkey or the button again

You can press the hotkey or the button any number of times to enable and disable the feature as needed and, so, repeat the steps 4 to 6 with no limits.
