Document Autosaving and Versions

Reference Tracker uses Mac OS X's document autosaving and versioning system to ensure that your Reference Tracker documents are always safely saved. As you work on your document, versions are automatically saved. You can manually save a version at anytime by selecting 'File > Save'.

If you wish to save the document using a different name or location, hold down the Option key and choose 'File > Save As...'.

You can revert your document to the last saved or last opened version by selecting the corresponding item from the 'File > Revert' menu.

To browse all the previous versions of your document select 'File > Revert > Browse All Versions...'

To restore your document to a previous version, browse to the version and then click 'Restore'. To duplicate a version in a new document, display the version then, press the Option key then click 'Restore a Copy'. To return to the current version of your document without restoring, click 'Done'.
