START BY UNZIPPING THE FILE
To keep things neat and tidy we suggest unzipping all files needed for this program into one folder. Start by
making a folder called "santa"
Creating a new folder
Use Windows Explorer to create new folders. Here's how:
Select the drive or folder where you want to create the new folder.
(For example, in the My Documents folder or directly on the C drive.)
On the File menu, point to New, and then click Folder.
A new folder appears in the right-hand pane of Windows Explorer,
with the name "New Folder" highlighted. Type the name you would like
for the new folder, and then press ENTER.

Copy or extract all files into this directory or folder on your hard drive.
(all files must be in the same directory for the program to work correctly)
Click on DEARSANTA.EXE to begin program.
You DO NOT need to be connected to the Internet for this program to work. You do however need to have
already installed an Internet web browser such as Internet Explorer or Netscape.
Parents please note:
The personal information that you or your child enter remain strictly on your own computer. While it appears that
the program is actually sending email to Santa that data recorded is actually stored in the program and later used
to help create the email from Santa. When you exit the program all the personal data that you have entered is
deleted. You will need to enter new data each time you use the program.
